August 24th, 2017 Click here to read this newsletter in your web browser. Hi Everyone!
Bill here. I made my way up to D.C. from North Carolina this week and I have to say the countryside I drove through was absolutely beautiful. It's great getting to see so many different parts of the country. I know location is important when looking for your next career and we hope to highlight more of the great veteran friendly cities and states that are out there as we get ready to start our next season of Hiring America.
What are some locations you would like to see on the list?
We have a guest curator, Evan Guzman, who will be taking over the newsletter curation next week. Evan is a respected veterans advocate who was Verizon's Global Head of Military Programs and Engagement. Evan recently left Verizon to join the MilBrand project that helps other veteran start ups. He brings a great perspective on up and coming organizations that can really be helpful to both transitioning veterans, companies and individuals looking to support them.
Tune in next week to hear more from Evan!
