HA News 81: Strip Your Military Accolades Off your Resume??

Ever thought your experience made you the perfect candidate for a job, only to apply and get nothing? Is removing your military experience the answer?

I am not sure I totally agree. There is a very good chance that you did something that was relevant to the research fellowship you are applying for, during your service. Your expert marksmanship badge may not need to go on the resume but listing out the Reserach and Development you did on how to improve all left hand/left eye dominant shooters probably should! I would say think outside of what is listed on your military evals and I bet there are some great skills hiding in there.

We have a really interesting line up of articles for you today! The most interesting to me is the last article with 6 Crucial Job Tips from Veterans. The first tip mentioned is to only list the dates of your time in service if it doesn't relate to the job you are applying for. How do you feel about that?I am not sure I totally agree.
