Find out who's in charge of hiring. Introduce yourself to them and let them know you're ready to do what it takes to work with them. Peer to peer communication is always more impactful than plain application submissions. When you're done, thank them for their time and keep on moving. How to Navigate US Veterans Programs On this week's episode, we talk with Dr. Susan Kelly, at the US Army Garrison Bavaria. She's the Director of TVPO, which stands for transition to veterans program office. The secretary of defense stood the TVPO up to oversee the implementation of a total redesign of the transition assistance program targeting the hundreds of thousands of servicemembers who are going to be transitioning out of active duty to civilian life over the next several years.
