Challenge: Shut Down Negative Self-Talk
Silence your negative self-talk. That inner voice—full of doubt, criticism, and second-guessing—shows up for all of us. It tends to get especially loud during job searches or career changes, when confidence is already on shaky ground. But here’s the reality: Letting that inner critic take the lead will only stall your progress and undermine the success you’re striving for.
The Red-Flag Phrases in the Milspouse Group Chat
“I’m fine” is rarely what it seems. If you’ve spent any time in a milspouse group chat—or been close with a military spouse—you already know: those two little words are almost never true. It’s not a real update, and it’s definitely not comfort. More often, it’s a quiet red flag. A subtle SOS. A bat signal hidden in lowercase letters and a calm tone that masks everything underneath.
Breaking Down Trump’s Executive Order Mandating Multiple VA Reforms
The Department of Veterans Affairs is set to launch two major veterans service facilities—one on each coast—while intensifying efforts to remove underperforming employees, as part of a broad set of reforms ordered by President Donald Trump late Friday. Signed during an Oval Office ceremony, the executive order also aims to reduce wait times for veterans seeking health care by extending hours at VA facilities and easing restrictions for scheduling appointments with community care providers.

Challenge: Shut Down Negative Self-Talk

Shut down negative self-talk. We all have that inner voice—the one that whispers doubts, exaggerates mistakes and chips away at our confidence. For many professionals, especially job seekers and those navigating career transitions, this voice can be relentless. But here’s the truth: If you let your inner critic call the shots, it will hold you back from the success you’re working so hard to achieve.

The Red-Flag Phrases in the Milspouse Group Chat

“I’m fine” is code. If you’ve ever been in a milspouse group chat longer than a week (or friends with milspouses for longer than a week), you already know the truth. No one who says, “I’m fine,” is actually (ever) fine. Everyone knows it’s never a status update or even a reassurance. Most often, it’s a warning. It’s A Cry For Help. A bat signal disguised as lowercase letters and emotional detachment.

Breaking Down Trump’s Executive Order Mandating Multiple VA Reforms

The Department of Veterans Affairs would begin work on a pair of major new veterans services facilities on opposite ends of the country and ramp up efforts to fire poorly performing employees under a series of sweeping reforms directed by President Donald Trump late Friday.
