The National Military Spouse Network (NMSN) celebrated its 10th anniversary at the virtual Rally for Impact gala on September 15th. Broadcast via Facebook Live, this event featured a panel of military experts from various organizations and communities.
“We are so honored to be celebrating this milestone of serving military spouses in the U.S. and around the world,” said founder Sue Hoppin. “We’re looking forward to continuing our support of members’ careers whether in the military or in civilian life.”
NMSN is a professional development organization offering mentorship and career coaching to military spouses. With a community of professionals in a myriad of fields, the organization equips members with the resources necessary for successful and fulfilling careers.
“As a social enterprise we found our niche, stepping in where others couldn’t—or wouldn’t,” Hoppin said.
The Rally for Impact panel featured executives from USAA, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, Operation Deploy Your Dress, and more. Panelists discussed adapting to a virtual environment, fostering beneficial partnerships, and planning for the years to come.
“I have enjoyed every step of the journey, and I know that it’s only going to get bigger, better, faster and stronger,” Maggie Hahn of USAA said to the NSMN team. “You has paved the way for so many military spouses. I can’t wait for the next ten years.”
